25 Feb How to keep your trailer performing its best
Keeping your trailer in peak performance is important for your business. So to avoid any unnecessary delays there are a few things you can be doing regularly to keep your trailer performing at its best. Our CEO, Graham Lusty recommends:
- Visual Inspection. Walk around your trailers looking for any visible damage or anything which may be loose or missing.
- Tyre Pressure. Is the tyre pressure at the optimal level for your loads?
- Turntable locks. Are they still in good working order?
- Electronic Breaking System. Check the connections for any visible damage or excessive wear and tear.

While performance is really important, many of you also like to keep your trailer looking its best. Our trick to keep your light tracks looking pristine is to polish using steel wool soap pads. You can pick these up from any supermarket for less than $2.
